As a photographer, Bruce Meisterman, based in Memphis, TN., has worked in diverse areas bringing his "eye" and thoughtfulness to his clients both regionally and nationally. Originally trained as a fine artist, Bruce found that he could express himself and his art more effectively with a camera. His sense of humor, patience, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to tell the story photographically has put him in great demand. He has worked both in film and still photography. In film he has directed commercials for McDonald's, BMW cars, and various financial institutions. He has even had his still photography featured in other's television commercials. And that is where his heart and passion lies: still photography. It is there he has done some of his best work. From record album covers to photojournalism, to fine art photography, to striking portraits and much more, he looks for the essence of the subject. "Many photographers will separate their work into two categories: professional and personal. It's all personal to me. When I am photographing, I am involved totally with the subject. At that level, how could it not be anything but personal?" In addition, Bruce has been widely published in numerous publications such as: the New York Times, The Sun magazine, Country Journal magazine and others. He has had numerous exhibitions ranging from galleries to museums. And his work resides in many private collections. Bruce has been a guest lecturer at colleges and universities, religious organizations, and trade groups conducting them in a fashion where he also learns from the process as well as those attending.
